Inter-county Action

On Sunday at 4pm in FBD Semple Stadium Tipperary take on Cork in the final Munster Round Robin game. A win for Tipperary may not be enough to progress. They will need to beat Cork and rely on Clare to beat Waterford. After that score difference will come into play. Hopefully Noel and the lads can get the job done. Brian is named on the bench for the game.

On Thursday night the Tipp minor footballers lost out to Cork in the Munster Minor Semi-Final. Our own Eoin O’Connell started the game at wing back with Shane Hennessy part of the coaching ticket. It was a disappointing end to what has been a great year for the team. The Daryl D’arcy cup win previously gives us good hope for the future of this squad.

Today at 5pm in the Ragg Tipperary begin their All-Ireland Camogie Championship journey as they welcome Clare for the 3rd meeting of the two sides in 4 weeks. Aoife McGrath is named at centre back for Tipp while Niamh Treacy, Mairead Eviston, and Eimear McGrath start the game from the bench.
