County Champions Framed Photo

Hurling and Football Championships

This weekend sees us in action in the County Senior Football Quarter Final against Kilsheelan Kilcash in a repeat of last year’s Quarter Final. The game is scheduled for Saturday the 17th of September in Leahy Park Cashel with a throw in time of 5pm.

On Sunday our Intermediate Footballers will take on Mulinahone at 12:30pm on Sunday the 18th of September in Littleton in the Intermediate County Quarter Final.

Noel McGrath All-Star Nomination

Congratulations to Noel McGrath who is Tipperary’s sole All-Star nomination for 2022. While it was a disappointing year for the Premier County Noel put in a number of stand out performances to get the nominations. He has previously won three All-Stare (2009, 2010, and 2019) and his 9th nomination. He also won a Young Hurler of the Year award in 2009 and his All-Star that year saw him named the youngest player to ever win such an award.

Juvenile Club

Commiserations to our Minor Hurlers who were defeated on Sunday evening by Portroe. A close game saw both sides level at half time before Portroe eventually ran out 1 point winners.
