24 Feb 2022Sean Mockler Memorial Cup
On Saturday 19th February Loughmore Castleiney GAA Juvenile Club hosted the 2021 delayed annual Sean Mockler Memorial Cup (U11) and as bonus the County Senior Football & Hurling Champions came along to support and showcase their 2021 silverware.

Played on the Club’s new Astro pitch facility, both teams gave a great display of skill. Congratulations to all players and thanks to referee, Dara Nolan. Thanks to Mrs. Rose Mockler, who along with her grandson, Fintan Purcell, presented the Cup to the winning team, and medals to all the players. Refreshments served in the clubhouse were greatly appreciated by everyone and County winning captains Willie Eviston and Noel McGrath were presented with a celebration cake from the Juvenile Club.
Dinner Dance
Our dinner dance to celebrate our 2021 double county champions, will take place on March 12th in the Templemore Arms Hotel at 8pm. Tickets are €35 each and enquiries can be made with any club officer. This promises to be a fantastic night and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate such a unique feat. So please come along and give our double winning heroes the celebration they deserve.

Fitzgibbon Cup Success
