Remembering Bloody Sunday 1920-2020
17 Nov 2020Great video from the RTE Archives of the great Bill Ryan of Laha Castleiney recalling the events of Bloody Sunday 1920. One of the great men of the club who along with Jim Ryan Loughmore played for Tipp on that fateful day. The GAA field in Castleiney ‘Páirc Ó Riain’ is now named after these two great gaels. The Hogan stand in Croke Park is named after their teammate Mick Hogan who died on that fateful day.
