Loughmore Castleiney GAA Club Weekly Notes 25th February 2020
25 Feb 2020 Our club games have been seriously hampered by the weather conditions all over the County. However, training work outs have been going ahead where possible and Sunday next, 1st March, should see two of our teams in action.
At 12 noon in Castleiney our U/21B footballers will face Boherlahan in the Mid semi final where we hope we can progress to the final.
Also on Sunday next our junior B football team will face Nenagh Eire Og in the County league which is also in Castleiney with perhaps a 2pm start. Check on time.
Photographic Book: Progress is now very much in place for our photographic book which we hope to launch in November in conjunction with Bloody Sunday commemorations. The book price has been set at 50.00 euro and in order to have a general idea of quantity required 50 euro payments can be made up to March 31st to treasurer Eamon Connolly. The name will be inserted as patrons during this period. It is hoped that a big demand will be on this volume of photographs, action pictures etc. dating back to early 1900’s.
We say hard luck to Conor Ryan who played on the U/20 Tipperary team on Wednesday night last and to our players with the Tipperary senior team on Saturday night in Thurles.
