Loughmore Castleiney GAA Club News 5th November
05 Nov 2018U.21 Hurling: On Sunday morning last in Templeuohy our U/21 B hurling team made their exit from the championship at semi final stage losing out to a very strong Gortnahoe team 1-13 to 1-15. This was a most competitive encounter throughout with the lead changing hands on various occasions and disappointment at the finish for our team who looked at least to be divisional contenders.
Our best wishes to Gortnahoe in final. Our only remaining team left is our Intermediate footballers who face a three way play off in the Mid division.
Club Meeting: A meeting of the club will take place this Wednesday night at 8pm in the club rooms with a view to football championship format in the County.
Juvenile Club: The juvenile club will hold a table quiz on the Friday night at 9pm sharp. A table of 4 is 40 euro and there are lots of great prizes on the night. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
On behalf of the senior and juvenile club we offer our sympathy to the Hayes family, Clondoty on the passing of Mary Carew over the weekend R.I.P.
