Senior Football: On Monday evening last in Templetuohy our senior football team chalked up their second group game victory by defeating J K Brackens 1-16 to 2-05.

Overall this was a good performance by the team with only poor shooting at times a cause for concern for later stages of the championship. Our game v Kilsheelan on Tuesday night will now be for poll position in Group 1.

Senior Hurling: Our second important game in just five days brought victory with our senior hurlers gaining victory over Portroe in Dolla on Saturday evening last on a 1-24 to 2-11 score line and qualify from group four.

Perhaps it was an encounter we never looked like losing overall except for a brief period midway through the second half but a quick uplift once again gained control to run out comfortable winners and as draw works out we face a preliminary quarter final.

Fixtures: On Sunday next in Templetuohy at 3pm we face Thurles Sarsfields in the Mid Tipperary senior hurling final. With a heavy fixture list compacted into football and hurling for our players it will take a supreme effort from all to take the Leahy Cup.
