On Sunday last the club had three teams in action with the outcome one defeat and two victories.
On Sunday afternoon in Castleiney our senior hurlers were hosts to Portroe in County league division one and with the grounds bearing up well to the inclement weather we had a hard fought encounter with the North team running our 1-11 to 0-16 winners.

Our minor footballers travelled to Holycross and had a narrow victory over the home side, keeping our chances of a semi final spot alive.

It was then onto Boherlahan for a division 4 County league hurling game and again achieved a deserved victory.

Sympathy: We offer our sympathy to the Sweeney family, Whitefield on the passing of their sister Brigid in England RIP.

Fixtures: Our senior hurlers are due to travel to Nenagh on Monday March 18th for the second round County league game. Check diary for time.
