Loughmore Castleiney Club Notes 20th August
20 Aug 2018Senior Hurling: On Wednesday evening last our senior hurlers had a surprisingly comfortable victory over Borrisoleigh in the Ragg on a 2-22 to 0-17 scoreline.
Overall we can be reasonably happy with our display but we know that we are far from safe in coming out or this group and our remaining game v Portroe certainly requires victory and other results also have to go our way.
Intermediate Football: On Sunday morning last in Templetuohy our team were defeated by the same side by 1-09 to 2-12 in County championship group game. Falling behind early in the game made the recovery difficult and we struggled in many positions. With one win and one loss, we now need a result in our last game of the group to qualify.
Fixtures:
Monday 27th August Tipperary County Senior football v JK Bracken’s in Templetuohy at 7 pm.
Tuesday 4th September Tipperary County Senior football v Kilsheelan in Cashel at 6.30 pm.
