Senior Football County SF
Congratulations to our Senior Footballers who defeated Kilsheelan Kilcash in the County SFC Semi Final in Dundrum on Sunday. In what was definitely a game of two halves, it was KIilsheelan who came out of the block’s sharper, eventually building up to a maximum lead of 12 points in the first half. Our lads never gave up and shot the last four scores of the first half and built-up great momentum in the second half with goals from Phillip O’Connell and a last-minute goal by captain Brian McGrath help to snatch victory in the dying minutes. Commiserations to Kilsheelan Kilcash and we wish the players and management the best of luck as they prepare for the County SFC Final in two weeks’ time against reigning champions Clonmel Commercials.

Club Training Fund
With our senior footballers now in the County SFC Final, a training fund has been set up to try and help aid with the costs involved in the preparation over the next few weeks. Any donations would be welcome can be made directly to our club account (IBAN: IE 80 BOFI 9044 5629 172981) or to any club officer.
Mid Junior C Champions
Our Junior C hurlers had a great win in the Mid JHC C Final over Clonakenny on Sunday winning out 1-17 to 0-13, with the first half goal coming from Padraig Egan. Well done to all players and management, and we wish them the best of luck as they prepare for the County Semi Final next weekend against Ballingarry.

U12 County Champions
On Saturday afternoon our U12’s headed to a sun-drenched Littleton to take on Eìre Og Annacarthy in the G2 Football County Final Replay. Once again this was an evenly matched contest with both teams giving it everything. Heading into the final stages we trailed by a goal but in true Loughmore/ Castleiney fashion our players threw everything at it to score 2 late goals and win on a score line of 2-03 to 1-03. This was a true team effort with all 24 players getting game time. A big thank you to everyone who helped out on the day.

Juvenile Club
U10’s hosted Moyne Templetuohy in a hurling game on Saturday morning. There was great skill and determination on show from all who played. Our U6 had their last session of the year Saturday Morning. We were delighted to have 28 kids on the morning and to have Noel McGrath on hand to make a small presentation to each child to mark their hard work and dedication during the year.
