Club Notes 30th July 2023

County Senior Hurling and Football Championships

There was no sign of any blanket defences in Borrisoleigh on Saturday evening as we overcame Templederry Kenyons on a scoreline of 4-26 to 4-18. Ed Connolly struck two first half goals with John McGrath adding a third in the second half while Ciaran McGrath claimed our 4th. The other teams in our group played on Sunday morning with Holycross Ballycahill overcoming Upperchurch Drombane. This means we will now face Holycross in the next round in two weeks time before playing Upperchurch in the final group game.

Our focus next weekend will switch to the big ball when our seniors travel to Gortnahoe to take on Moycarkey Borris. Throw in is 7:30pm on Friday the 4th of August.
