Club Planning and Development Workshop

On Friday the 10th of March the club will host a Club Planning and Development Workshop in Loughmore Parish Hall. You are invited to attend to create a 5 year club plan. You will have the opportunity to give your proposals and ideas on the future priorities to develop the club and the facilities for the enjoyment of all the community. We extend this invite to all members of the community and everyone’s opinion is valued. We look forward to seeing you on the night.

Foundation Level Coaching Course

Intercounty Action

On Saturday the Tipp footballers were defeated by Antrim in Semple Stadium on a score of 1-19 to 0-14. Unfortunately this makes it three defeats from three for our county footballers for whom a relegation battle is become a major concern. Liam McGrath started the game and contributed a point from a free while Tommy Maher saw action for the final 10 minutes. Tipp travel to Longford next Sunday at 2pm in their next game.

The Tipperary Camogie team got the year off to a perfect start with a win over reigning League Champions with a 4:9 to 1:9. Eimear McGrath and Mairead Eviston started the game with fine performances from both. Niamh Treacy was introduced in the second half while Aoife McGrath sat the game out due to injury. The girls travel to Dublin next Saturday at 2pm in Parnell Park. An ideal opportunity to see them in action for anyone also travelling to see the Senior Hurlers in Croke Park the same evening.

18th February 2023 – Very Camogie Leagues Division 1 A – Tipperary vs Galway

The Tipperary Senior Hurlers hosted Kilkenny in a friendly game organised in support of the Dillon Quirke Foundation. Kilkenny ran out 4-20 to 0-25 winners on the day. Noel McGrath was brought on after 55 minutes and contributed a point to Tipp’s tally. Tipp will take on Dublin in their next competitive match. This is scheduled for 5pm in Croke Park next Saturday evening.

Post Primary Hurling

Congratulations to Eoin O’Connell and Paul McCahey who were part of the Thurles CBS team who were victorious over Colaiste Eoin of Dublin in the Croke Cup 1/4 Final on Saturday. They now progress to the semi final of the competition where they will take on Presentation College Athenry.
