Senior Hurling
Our senior hurlers had a busy week this week. On Tuesday night, we played JK Brackens in the Cahill Cup QF, winning 2-19 to 2-17. Goals by Liam McGrath and Joey Quinn. We now move onto the semi final which is scheduled for 7pm on Wednesday night in Castleiney against Holycross Ballycahill. On Sunday morning, we played the last round of the County SHL, defeating Roscrea on a scoreline of 2-20 to 1-14, and leaves us in second place on the table.

Junior C Hurling
Our Junior C hurlers were defeated in the semi final of the Mid Junior Hurling League Div 4 on Sunday by Killea, on a score line of 1-26 to 2-14. Focus now turns to preparation for championship.
MT/LC Amalgamation
Hard luck to our U17’s who lost the County Football Division 1 League Final on Sunday to Cashel King Cormac’s on a scoreline of 5-10 to 1-7. The campaign has been a great success for the lads and has made for great preparation as the lads focus will now turn to championship in the summer.
Intercounty Hurling
Hard luck to Noel, John and Brian McGrath and Declan Laffan who were knocked out of the Munster Senior Championship this weekend. The lads can be incredibly proud of their efforts for the year and have, like always, done a fantastic job representing our club and parish on such an incredible stage. We wish them the very best of luck in their final game against Limerick and encourage as many supporters as possible to travel and cheer on the lads.
Intercounty Football
Best of luck to Eoin O’Connell and the Tipperary Senior Footballers as they travel to Belfast on Sunday to play Antrim in Round 2A of the Tailteann Cup.
U10 Hurling
Loughmore Castleiney hosted Clonakenny in an U10 hurling blitz on Monday evening. It was an enjoyable evening for all of the kids with great skill and effort on display against very strong Clonakenny teams.
U12 Hurling
Loughmore Castleiney hosted Shelmaliers (Wexford) on Saturday afternoon. A great hour hurling was had with some great skills on show with over 36 kids getting lots of game time. A big thank you to Michael Brennan for organising and presenting our U12 captain Lewis long with 2 dozen size 4 sliotars.
