Juvenile Medal Presentation

On Friday night our Juvenile teams that were successful in various competitions gathered in the Community Hall in Loughmore for their medal presentation. On hand to do the honours was Noel McGrath. Well done to all the players , coaches and parents who make these wins possible. These young boys and girls are the future of Loughmore Castleiney and it’s very important that we acknowledge their success.
Our u15 and u17 players have completed their 9 week strength and conditioning course in the LIT sports lab and we thank Seamus and Aaron for their help and guidance.

The Tipperary u20 football team began their Munster campaign on Friday night in Fethard with Eoin O Connell at fullback. Despite going 5 points up early in the 2nd half, they were probably lucky to escape with a draw in the end on a score of Tipp 2-06-Limerick 0-12. They play Clare in Quilty next Saturday with a 2 pm throw in.
On Saturday the Tipp senior hurlers with Noel McGrath at wing forward went north to Antrim and a convincing win sees them through to a league semi final against Clare.
On the club scene both our proposed games in the County hurling league were postponed this weekend. Keep an eye on the fixtures for the new fixture of each game.
Senior Club AGM.
The adjourned AGM will take place on this Friday night in the clubhouse at 8pm.
