Mid Minor B Hurling Champions

Congratulations to our Minor Hurlers amalgamated with Moyne Templetouhy who defeated Boherlahan Dualla on Wednesday on a scoreline of 2-17 to 2-14. This is a great success for the amalgamation and is a credit to all involved from both clubs. Well done to all involved and we wish the team and management the best of luck as they prepare for the County Championship.

Junior C Hurling

After the success of the amalgamation with our Minors on Wednesday, Moyne Templetouhy on Saturday evening turned back into rivals again as we faced them in the Mid Junior C Hurling Championship Semi Final. In what was a very close contest from start to finish, we ended up on level pegging at 0-15 apiece, with a replay fixture yet to be made. Best of luck to all involved in the replay.

U12 D2 County Football Final

On Saturday afternoon our U12s played out a thrilling draw against a resilient Eìre Og Annacarthy in the G2 football county final in a wet and windy Kilcommon. Even extra time couldn’t separate these two evenly matched teams so a replay will be needed to decide the outcome. Our players put in a great shift and never dropped their heads over the 50+ minutes of football with all 24 players getting game time. Well done to all involved.

Senior Football

Best of luck to our Senior Footballers as they take on JK Brackens in the County SFC Quarter Final in Holycross on Sunday at 3pm.

Premier Junior Football

Best of luck to our Premier Junior Footballers who take on Fr Sheehy’s in the County Premier JFC Quarter Final in Cashel on Saturday at 2pm.

Brian Gleeson

Congratulations to clubman Brian Gleeson who was recently awarded Young Player of the Year Award at the recent Munster Rugby Awards.

Club Walkway

The new walkway around the club grounds is now open to all members for use. There has recently been a new lighting system installed which will now be on every evening until 10pm. Many thanks to all involved in getting this fantastic facility up and running over the last number of months.

U8’s Blitz

Our U8s travelled to Rockwell College to play in a Mid and West Tipp hurling tournament. Our  teams played games against Holycross, Rosegreen, Annacarthy, Sean Treacys and Clonoulty. Well done to all kids who took part.
