This is a great help to the club as we seek to upgrade our facilities for our current and future players. Thanks to all those involved in getting this grant.

Intercounty Action
The Tipperary senior hurlers made it two wins from two on Sunday when they travelled to Nowlan Park to take on Kilkenny. Nowlan Park has been a happy hunting ground for teams in the blue and gold against various teams in numerous competitions at all grades but a senior win against the Noresiders has eluded the county since 2008. The winless run was finally put to bed on this occasion with Tipp coming out as victors in a 2-24 to 1-21 scoreline. Noel McGrath chipped in with 2 points from play in a characterictially fine display while John was an unused substitute. Brian was rested and not among the 26 man panel after putting in several impressive displays in recent weeks.
The old rivals will face each other again next weekend in a challenge game in aid of the Dillon Quirke Foundation. There is a gap in the League scheduled next weekend so the challenge game has been organised for this worthy cause. The Dillon Quirke Foundation was created in an effort to combat SADS (Sudden Adult Death Syndrome) in honour of the memory of the late Dillon Quirke. Match tickets and streaming options are are available as well as a non attendance ticket aimed at people who would like to donate to the cause but can’t attend or watch the stream. Tickets are available here.

The Tipp senior footballers are back in action on Saturday night. They will take on Antrim in Semple Stadium at 6pm. Tipp will be looking for an improved performance after two losses from their first two games. Best of luck to Willie, Tommy, and Liam.
Tipp Camogie get their league campaign started on Saturday afternoon. At 2pm in the Ragg they will take on Galway as Denis Kelly looks to get his tenure as Tipperary manager off to a winning start. Best wishes to Mairead Eviston, Aoife McGrath, Eimear McGrath, and Niamh Treacy for the year ahead.
