Hurler of the Year

What a proud moment for our club as John McGrath was crowned Hurler of the Year! His remarkable return to the pinnacle of both hurling and football after a serious injury has been nothing short of inspirational. Throughout the county campaign, John consistently delivered outstanding performances, culminating in one of his finest displays on the biggest day in the GAA hurling calendar. To cap off a phenomenal season by also securing his second All-Star Award is a testament to his dedication, talent, and resilience. Truly, 2025 is the year of John McGrath — a source of immense pride for Loughmore-Castleiney GAA and the entire parish. Comhghairdeas leat John!

We also extend congratulations to all the award winners who received All Star awards on Friday night.
