Senior Hurling and Football

Hard luck to our Senior footballers who were defeated by the narrowest of margins on Friday night in Boherlahan by Moyle Rovers. Despite a great team performance we lost out on a scoreline of 0-13 to 1-09 with a first half goal coming from Philip O’Connell from the penalty spot. This weekend we are back out in the hurling against Borrisoleigh in The Ragg at 7pm on Saturday.

Premier Junior Football and Junior Hurling

Our premier junior footballers had their game against Sean Treacy’s postponed this weekend, details will follow of the new fixture. Our Junior A hurlers are back out in action on Friday night at 7pm against Upperchurch Drombane in Castleiney in the Mid Junior A Championship quarter final. Best of luck to all involved.

Minor Football

Well done to our minor footballers who convincingly defeated Thurles Sarsfields last Wednesday night. Next up, the lads face JK Brackens in Templetouhy on Wednesday at 7:30pm.

Jim Power Cup

Well done to Killian Cleary, John Sheehan, Milo McDonnell & Tomàs Kennedy who represented Loughmore Castleiney on the Mid Tipperary U14 Panel in the Jim Power Cup at the weekend.

U12’s in Croke Park

On Tuesday last our U12s had the privilege of playing a football blitz in Croke Park against other teams from Munster. We have 24 players playing across the hour with some great skills and scores on show to keep our travelling supporters entertained. Many thanks to everyone who helped make this such a special day for the kids.
