County Hurling Leagues

In the Junior hurling league we lost out to Thurles Sarsfields 2-15 to 2-20. In the senior hurling league, after a slow start playing against a strong wind in Templetuohy on Sunday, we went into half time 2 points in deficit. The second half saw a much-improved performance and we recorded a comfortable win over Mullinahone at full time 3-25 to 1-19

Tipperary Munster Championship

Wishing Eoin O’Connell best of luck in the final round of the U20 Munster Football Championship as they take on Cork on Tuesday night in Páirc Uí Chaoimh. One Sunday next in Semple Stadium the Senior Hurlers will meet Limerick in the opening round of the Munster Championship. We send best wishes to Noel, John & Brian McGrath in this campaign.

Juvenile News

U17B Football played a strong Fethard/Clerihan side and with many of our own players unavailable we recorded a loss 2-09 to 6-13. U15B Football vs Holycross/Ballycahill had a strong performance winning on a scoreline 3-07 to 1-09. U13B Football recorded a loss against neighbours Moyne/Templetuohy 3-06 to 4-12.

Congratulations to Killian Cleary for getting the call up to the Primary games squad.

The U11s enjoyed their first football blitz of the season, a panel of 15 players played 3 games with great skills and teamwork on display.

Congratulations to club players, John Sheehan, Ollie Morris & Killian Cleary, who were part of the Thurles RFC u13 Munster Cup Champions team.
