Junior A Hurling

Our junior A hurlers are we out in action last Thursday night against JK Brackens under lights in The Park. Despite a very strong performance, and a dominant first 15 minutes, JK Brackens eventually ran out winners on a scoreline of 3-15 to 1-15.

Juvenile Club

On Saturday morning we hosted an under 8 hurling blitz. Boherlahan Dualla, Durlas Og and Gortnahoe Glengoole all travelled to Cugilla for a great hour of hurling for approximately 100 children. Well done to all kids involved for showcasing their skills and thanks to all parents and coaches for the assistance throughout the blitz.

Golf Classic

Our annual Golf Classic is taking place on Friday 15^th May in Thurles Golf Club. For tee time bookings please contact John O’Connell on 086 275 4270. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for anyone who does not play golf. We will be encouraging all members to support what is such an essential fundraiser to the running of the club.

Intercounty Scene

Hard luck to Noel, John and Brian McGrath and Declan Laffan as the lost to Cork in the opening round of the Munster Senior Hurling Championship. Best of luck to Eoin O’Connell and the Tipperary Senior Footballers as they take on Cork on Saturday in Semple Stadium in the Munster SFC semi final.

U14 Football

Our U14 were out in action in Castleiney on Wednesday night beating Holycross Ballycahill on a scoreline of 6-9 to 5-1.
