Junior A Hurling

On Easter Sunday morning our Junior A hurlers were out Rd 3 of the Mid Junior Hurling League against Upperchurch Drombane in Drombane. Despite a good performance for most of the game and being level with ten minutes to go, the church ran out winners on a scoreline of 2-21 to 3-11.

Junior C Hurling

Our Junior C hurlers were out in action on Friday evening in Cugilla against Upperchurch Drombane in Division 4 of the Mid Junior Hurling League. Playing with a very strong breeze in the first half, we were up 0-12 to -7 at half time, but Upperchurch got to grips with the game in the second half and eventually finished the game two points stronger – final score 1-16 to 017.

Club Golf Classic

Under 16 Development Sessions

Over the past week our 2026 under 16 panel underwent 3 intense sessions with external coaches. On Tuesday Ken Hogan took an excellent hurling session. Ken spoke to the panel afterwards about the importance of playing for your club and the pride of wearing the red and green jersey. On Wednesday Tommy Dunne done an excellent skills session with the panel, focussing on first touch, moving the ball forward and utilising space on the field. On Thursday our own Shane Hennessy took the panel for a football session. Shane focussed on tackling, shooting and support play. A big thanks to Ken, Tommy & Shane for their time, for the parents and players for such a good attendance and to the ladies who provided fruit and refreshments afterwards.

Lotto Results

Numbers drawn this week were 6, 24, 25, 28. No winner. Lucky dip winners were Mary Connolly, Richard Maher, Noeleen Monahan, Eileen. Next weeks jackpot is €13,850– play online via the club website or through ClubZap.
