Annual Golf Classic – A resounding success!

With a quiet week on the fixture front all teams continued their training activities, and focus on Saturday turned to the annual golf fundraiser.

Results:

1st Mackey’s Bar team. 67 pts, 2nd Larry’s Bar team 66pts, 3rd Anna Stapleton team 65pts.
1st Ladies team Michele Crowe, Pauline Fitzgerald, Kathleen O Neill and Maura O Neill 56 pts. 
Nearest pin prizes: 3rd hole John Kiely, 5th hole Martin Gleeson, 11th hole Fergus O’Brien, 14th hole Jerry Stapleton. 

Raffle prizes: Martin Gleeson (50” LG TV), Michéal & Anna Kearney online (Premier Meats Voucher), Rory Brislane (Ely’s Centra Hamper), Katherine Maher online (Relish Foods Voucher).

Thanks to Thurles Golf Club for having a great course, facilities and food on the day. Juvenile News

On Sunday morning our U11’s took part in the Michael Hogan Festival of Football Tournament where they enjoyed 4 games, thanks to Gortnahoe/Glengoole for hosting.  

Lotto Results: There was no jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were: 10, 17, 28, 29.
