The Cahill Cup Final was played in Holycross on Friday last where we encountered Thurles Sarsfields. The first half scores were tit for tat until Liam McGrath found the back of the net in the 25^th minute giving us a 3-point lead going into the break. The second half continued with a very tight game, and it was a draw up to the 32^nd min, but a further two minutes of injury time found Sars scoring 2 points to claim the Cup. Final score 1-21 to 0-19.

In the Mid Junior League we played neighbours JK Brackens losing out on a score of 0-19 to 1-23.

Juvenile News

Our U17s played their final county league hurling on Monday against Lattin/Aherlow. Coming away with a win (1-22 / 1-14).

State Examinations
