Senior Football County Final

Best of luck to our Senior Footballers who take on Clonmel Commercials in the County SFC Final on Sunday in Semple Stadium at 4pm. We encourage all club members to get the club colours out on their houses and get the parish dressed in red and green – flags, bunting, headbands etc. can all be purchased from John O’Connell (086 275 4270).

Club Training Fund

A training fund has been set up to try and help aid with the costs involved in the preparation over the next few weeks for the County SFC Final. Any donations would be welcome can be made  at the following link:

Junior C Hurling

Hard luck to our Junior C Hurlers who lost out to a strong Ballingarry side on a scoreline of 1-21 to 0-10 in the County JHC C Semi Final on Sunday in Cashel. In what was a disappointing game all round, Ballingarry got off to the best start, and took control of the game early on. Hard luck to our lads who can be very proud of their efforts after an excellent year overall, winning the Mid Junior C Hurling title on the way, and hopefully there will be more silverware to come for this group in the coming years. Best of luck to Ballingarry as they progress to the final.

Minor Hurling County Final

Hard luck to our minor hurlers who lost out to Naomh Eoin in the County MHC B Final on Saturday in Templederry on a scoreline of 2-16 to 2-11. While the result on the day was disappointing for the lads, they can all be incredibly proud of their efforts. A special mention to all our friends in Moyne Templetouhy GAA Club who have worked so hard with Loughmore Castleiney to make this amalgamation the success that it has been. This group of players from both clubs have gained some great experience playing at a higher level which will no doubt stand to both clubs over the coming years as these lads progress to adult ranks. Congratulations to Naomh Eoin on a hard fought, and well deserved victory on the day.
