Senior Football

Our Senior footballers had a resounding victory over neighbours JK Brackens in the County SFC QF in Holycross on Sunday on a scoreline of 5-13 to 1-13. At half time we were leading by six points, and shortly after the break JKB had reduced that deficit to just three, however from there, we got to grips with the game and were able to see out the game. We now progress to the semi finals which will be on the weekend of the 3^rd/4^th of October.

Premier Junior Football

The season came to an end for our Junior Footballers on Saturday as we were defeated by Fr Sheehy’s on a scoreline of 3-14 to 0-10 in the County Premier JFC Quarter Final. Despite an excellent first half performance, we were leading 0-7 to 1-1 but had the advantage of a stiff breeze. It was the Fr Sheehy’s lads that came out of the blocks better after half time and had eliminated the lead within minutes, and ultimately took control of the game from there. Hard luck to all players and management and we wish Fr Sheehy’s the best of luck as the progress to the semi finals.

Minor Hurling

Congratulations to our minor hurlers amalgamated with Moyne Templetouhy who defeated Carrick Swans in the County MHC B Semi Final on a scoreline of 1-18 to 1-13. We now progress to the final against Naomh Eoin.

Junior C Hurling

Our Junor C’s are awaiting fixture for the replay of the Mid JHC C SF fixture to be made, which we expect will be made Monday night.

Club Walkway

We wish to remind club members that the walkway around the grounds is now open and has floodlights in place that will be on every night until 10pm.

Lotto Results
