Senior Hurling

Our senior hurling campaign came to an end on Saturday as we lost out in the prelim QF to Holycross Ballycahill on a scoreline of 4-25 to 4-18. In what was a thrilling contest, it was the Holycross lads that took control coming down the straight in the final ten minutes to see out the game. Although the season has ended prematurely, we can look back on what was a great season winning a Mid SHC title along the way. The lads can be incredibly proud of their efforts throughout the year and have, as always done the little parish of Loughmore Castleiney incredibly proud. We wish Holycross Ballycahill the very best of luck as they progress to the quarter final stages next week.

Upcoming Football Fixtures

Our senior footballers are due to take on neighbours JK Brackens in the SFC Quarter Final on Sunday 20th of September at 3pm. Our Premier Junior Footballers are also out in action in the County Quarter Final on Saturday 19th September at 2pm in Leahy Park, Cashel.

Junior C Hurling

Our Junior C hurlers were due to play Thurles Gaels in the Mid QF on Friday night, however, we received a walkover from the Gaels and now progress to the semi final with fixtures yet to be made.

Minor Hurling

Our Minor hurlers amalgamated with Moyne Templetouhy had a great win in the Mid B Hurling semi final, defeating Drom Inch by the narrowest of margins on a scoreline of 1-20 to 1-19. The final against Boherlahan Dualla is fixed for Wednesday 9th September at 6:30pm in Holycross. Best of luck to all involved.

U12 Football

On Saturday afternoon our U12s played Moneygall in the football G2 County semi-final in Templemore. This was a great team performance by all 22 players who ground out a well deserved win against a very tough opponent. This now qualifies us for the County Final next weekend. Well done to all involved.

Lotto Results
