The Draw Committee have decided to delay the first draw of 2012/13 until 8th June in response to a survey of clubs who are reporting great interest in the draw, but many of whom are still in the process of selling it to both new and existing members. This is a very special draw with 25 cars to be won marking the 25th Anniversary of the Tipperary Clubs draw. In addition, there will be 25 prizes of €500 each month for the entire 12 months, and of course the weekly lotto of €1000 and all this for a membership of €100. The membership can be paid by Direct debit, monthly at €10, 5 x€20, 2 x€50 or €100 .

To acknowledge the great being done by all our Club Co-ordinators and promoters, the Draw Committee have introduced a very special prize of a car this year which will be drawn among all promoters and club co-ordinators. A promoter needs to have a min of 10 members to qualify and will get an extra entry in the draw for each 10 members he or she has signed up.

Many clubs have recruited new promoters this year and part of our reason for delaying the first draw is to give them an opportunity to sell the draw to new members in their area. Our survey of clubs completed over the weekend shows a very positive response from people all over the county to the Tipp draw once again and we are confident of increased membership in this our 25th year. Every club in the county has benefited from the draw over the years and for many clubs it is their single biggest source of finance to run their club.

Perhaps there are many reasons how we lost out in this encounter, as we held the initiative on the score board right through the game but made many errors that cost dearly at the finish. (See Report).

However, we have make our way to the quarter final and a lot of work must be put in if we are to retain a Mid title.

Minor Football: In winterly conditions in Castleieny on Wednesday night last our minor footballers had a hard earned victory over a very strong Moycarkey side 0-10 to 1-05.

This victory qualifies us for the Mid semi final and as group winners we now play the fourth placed team probably after exams.

Membership: Please note that this is the final request for club membership. It must be paid immediately to Ailbe Egan or any club officer.

County Board Draw: Please note the new County Board Draw with lots of extra prizes takes place on Friday 25th May. All outstanding monies for the year past and new must be settled with promoters. New members most welcome.

Fixtures: On this Friday night our senior footballers face J K Brackens in the first round of the senior football Mid championship at 8.00pm in Templetouhy. This is a most important game for the team following a very poor season last year. All panel to attend.
